Shropshire Club Development

Shropshire Cricket Club Development is moving at a pace

Clubmark Accreditation now stands at 26 clubs with a further Allscott CC, Bomere Heath CC and Quatt CC have recently received accreditation.

31 Focus Clubs have online development plans showing significant participation figures for cricket in Shropshire

Ludlow have recently had their cricket square "Koroed" (relayed) and will be available to play on next summer.

A Focus Club Development Seminar will be held on the 18th November at Wellington CC (6.30pm for a 7pm start) A buffet is available for those who attend.

The main focus will be on NatWest CricketForce where National Club Programmes Manager - David Leighton will be presenting on the night.

Coach Education in Shropshire is going from strength to strength, please click on the header above to see what courses are available.

Courses are now being run on a Shropshire District by District format.

A variety of courses were run in Shropshire in the winter and spring months of 2009. New courses are now available.

We recommend that places will be given to Focus Clubs in the first instance which also meet their workforce needs according to their online club development plans.

Shropshire District & County Junior Fixtures 2010

Find out everything there is to know about District and County fixtures around the County.

County Fixtures are now being organised for 2010.

County trials are also now well underway with a further 4 Districts squads to be selected at U13 level in Shropshire in 2010. This will include U12s and U13s who didn't quite make the winter county squads.


Kidz in Sport will be supporting our publications and resources in 2010. Watch out for the new directory in 2010
